Event Details

Sunday 1st September 11-2pm – ‘Singing in the Landscape’ (free, booking essential, 30 places)

Singers and multi instrumentalists Helen and Louise Curtis-Streich, were born to Anglo-Swiss parentage. They formed vocal duo Sätteli to honour their Swiss heritage, bringing a completely unique sound to British audiences with an eclectic mix of alpine songs old and new.

Sätteli workshops are fun and imaginative and participants will explore singing outdoors in the woods. Expect to sing songs in Swiss-German dialect and Natur Jütz, a style of singing without words. This style of singing is surprisingly accessible and extremely satisfying.

Asour celebratory event, FootFall, will take place in an area of woodland known as little Switzerland, the outcomes of this workshop will be shared on the 14th September.
