An illustrated talk with photographer Martin Parr

Hebden Bridge Camera Club are delighted to present a live talk via Zoom with documentary photographer Martin Parr.

Martin’s early photographic days were spent in Hebden Bridge, where for a short while he was a member of the towns Camera Club. He set up a local workshop in the early 70s and found a rich picking ground of characters in the Pennine area. He went on to become one of Britain’s leading documentary photographers.

The illustrated talk will be about his career with some retrospective work from the ‘Hebden Years’. Proceeds from ticket sales are being equally divided between the Martin Parr Foundation and Hebden Bridge Camera Club.
