We’re a hungry lot here in Hebden, and nothing gets us more excited than trying different delicious foods from all around the world. Tibetan Kitchen certainly hits the spot.
This friendly family business began life doing street food and festival catering, but their cosy local café has been a popular haunt for years now. Today, the team serves a mouthwatering mix of tasty and wholesome Himalayan dishes from a hot counter – perfect if you like to see and smell the food before you order. There are scrumptious curries, stir-fries and dhal of course, while delicious homemade ‘momo’ dumplings come with Sonny’s legendary special chilli sauce.
Excuse the pun, but vegetarians and meat-eaters are all well catered for here, and there are vegan, gluten-free and children’s options too – every one of them free from MSG. Look out for daily specials as well, and wash it all down with a free glass of authentic homemade chai tea. In a rush or buying for later? Don’t worry; you can grab your grub as a takeaway. Stuck in Manchester with momo FOMO? Relax, there’s a cafe there too!
