Over 10 lovely private gardens open to view for one day only. Gardens display a range of styles and sizes, all suited to the challenging conditions of gardening on a windy hillside – often with a great view. A smaller event than usual this year, with limited refreshments available. Bring a picnic and enjoy a warm welcome|
Many gardens have steps, narrow paths or uneven surfaces. Some can however be viewed easily from the roadside. There is limited parking available at Midgley school or on street.
Tickets cost £5.00, allowing access to all gardens. Children free.
Hi
Really looking forward to coming to this year’s Midgley mini open gardens, it’s always a treat, and well done for organizing it for this year in these difficult times.
Please say if it’s possible to get a map in advance to plan our day with friends to get the most out of it ( and a couple of us not being too good on our feet these days)
Many thanks
Julie
Hello Julie, so sorry we didn’t repond to this but howp you had a lovely time – the weahter was great for it this year. As volunteers it has been a difficult 18 months through this pandemic but I think we are now back up and running and will hopefully keep a better eye on the website! Thank you for your patience, Alison
