Hebden Bridge Duck Race

Trying to explain why up to 10,000 people from all over the North of England should descend on Hebden Bridge for 4 hours on an Easter Monday afternoon just to see some plastic ducks float down the river might be considered a hard task.

However one look at the videos on our website or any of the photos that can be found all over the internet and social and it immediately becomes clear!

There’s a business race of larger red, green and blue ducks first before the main event of 12,000 little yellow ducks racing down Hebden Water in the centre of the Town, all trying to get to the finishing line first, and being cheered on every step of the way!

With some fantastic prizes to be won, this event is not only enjoyed by all, it just as importantly raises a large amount for charity!
