Together we can slow the flow is a new climate action roadshow taking place across Calderdale this summer to raise awareness about the increasing impact of climate change on our lives and encourage people living and working in the area to take action to prevent major flooding events given the increasingly extreme weather.

The roadshow – the first across the borough – comprises of a traveling exhibition and varied events programme taking place in towns and high flood risk areas urging everyone from school children to anchor businesses to help slow the flow of water and adapt to climate change.

Funded by the National Lottery Together for our Planet initiative, the roadshow is aimed at empowering communities to tackle climate change by slowing the flow of water in upland areas, as well as around homes and businesses on the Valley basin.
